At SEVEN, we like things to be pretty simple. To keep things that way, we have outlined terms to ensure that you always know where you stand. Adhering to these terms also ensures your working relationship is always clear and comfortable allowing you and your Coach to focus completely on you and achieving your objectives.
All new clients agree to these terms when embarking on coaching with any SEVEN Coach.
Payment: All payment is by bank transfer or through our secure payment system known as Stripe (2.9% Stripe fee applies) and required 5 working days prior to your first session. Until we receive payment, we can’t hold appointment times for you.
Until payment has been received, we can’t start your coaching journey.
*Only in exceptional circumstances do we see new clients within 5 working days of payment, but if your circumstances have an urgency, please speak to your Career Coach or Executive Coach and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Discounts: Any special discounts will be valid for a limited time only, which will be outlined clearly to you. Special discounts can not be applied in relation to any other offers i.e. waiving admin fees for instalment plans etc.
If you take the instalment plan option for a 9 or 12 session package booking, any discount applied will reinstate the admin fee applied to these plans. Taken without a discount, we waive the admin fee for 9 + 12 session packages. Please ask Ellie or your Coach for clarification.
Instalment Plans: We operate instalment plans through our secure payment system known as Stripe for larger coaching packages to allow coaching to be as accessible to all. It essentially works as a monthly direct debit from you account for an agreed amount and period of time.
An admin fee does apply to instalment plans.
Instalment Plan payments and frequency do not necessarily reflect the number of sessions or frequency of your sessions. The instalment option is designed to spread the cost over a period of time to make it accessible and manageable for as many of our clients as possible.
Any changes in the frequency of your coaching, will not affect the instalment amount and frequency agreed at the outset of your coaching programme. In exceptional situations, we can discuss reworking the plan if required.
In circumstances where your monthly payment has failed, i.e. you have a new card, we will alert you and ask you to rectify it asap, no coaching can take place until the payment has been made and your details have been updated.
Cancellations or Postponement: You may cancel or change your coaching sessions up to 48 hours prior to that session’s start time. Cancelling or postponing within 48 hours of your next session will result in you losing the cost and benefits of that session.
IMPORTANT – Please always give 48 hours notice if changing your session times to avoid losing the value of your session. We love being flexible and working around your schedule, however, if inadequate time is given (less than 48 hours notice), we are left with an empty slot that could have been filled, with a loss to our business and real inconvenience to our Career Coaches and Executive Coaches. This can easily be prevented.
REFUNDS: We consider refunds on a case by case basis – the phone consultation or in-person consultation are designed specifically to ensure you can make the most informed decision before you embark on the coaching journey. Please use this to ask any questions you need to, we are always here to help if you need anything clarified.
9 sessions is considered a basic course of career coaching or executive coaching, if you’re in doubt, we encourage you to take your time and think about your readiness to embark on this journey. We offer a free consultation with a SEVEN Coach to ensure you can make the most informed decision before embarking on your coaching journey and this is your opportunity to learn as much as you need about the realities of coaching and achievable outcomes within the time and budget you have available.
In the case of a refund, after 3 sessions you may request to stop the programme and we will not charge you for further sessions or refund you for the remaining sessions. It is imperative that you first discuss the reasons with Evelyn Cotter our CEO as to why this isn’t working for you as expected. An admin fee of £75 is charged for cancellations. You will be charged the sessions you’ve used or cancelled if within 48 hours of the agreed time of your next appointment and we will refund you the remainder.
The coaching journey is a process and so as a result, is not designed as stand-alone meetings. It’s designed as a process over a minimum of 9 sessions and in addition to at least another 18 hours reflection, homework and application time on your part, so it needs to be treated and viewed as a whole course. Coaching is a collaborative process and the client gets out of it, what they put in. If you don’t feel you are getting value from your coaching, firstly flag it as soon as possible with your Coach to allow them to adapt or tweak the journey to suit you and if this still doesn’t work, please email [email protected]

BOOKING EVENING SESSIONS: As most of our clients work 9-5 and want the same meeting times on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, to avoid disappointment, we suggest you book at least 2 -3 weeks in advance for evening slots. Until payment is received by new clients, these slots are not confirmed and can be lost to other clients.
GUARANTEES: Many clients come to us for programmes of a minimum of 9 or 12 sessions and even much more, the results you achieve, depend very much on you and your engagement, openness, effort and time investment in the process. Each client we work with is very different and so are the results achieved, so it would be irresponsible to offer any guarantees.
The analogy we like to use, is piano lessons – if you pay for a course of 6 piano lessons and you practise in between, engage with the process and give it your all, you are responsible for the result at the end. A great teacher or coach, is only as good as the effort and commitment the student or client invests in the process.
Time: It is your responsibility to confirm the agreed session and be on time. Please notify your Career Coach if you are late.
Duration of coaching: We recommend you work weekly to bi-monthly to achieve the maximum benefit from your coaching. Remaining coaching sessions expire if unused after 6 months.
This is entirely avoidable by promptly using your coaching sessions within the agree time. Keeping momentum is key to the success of your coaching, so frequent sessions are important to the results you achieve. For best results bi-monthly sessions or weekly sessions initially are recommended across the coaching industry. We require you to use a minimum of 1 session per month.
Come prepared for your sessions: Bring a notebook, pen, or use your phone recorder to record if that suits you better. Having your homework or actions completed and ready to discuss is important to keep progressing, this is your work as an accountable client. It is not the Coach’s responsibility to send you session notes, it is important you take note of what you need to action through the sessions, take notes of what you need to remember and track your coaching journey to fully maximise the value. All SEVEN Coaches send exercises and tools by email throughout the journey in addition to this.
We expect you to hold yourself accountable, be active in the process and complete all agreed actions with your Coach between sessions to get full value from the programme. If these are not completed, you can not expect to achieve the results our clients achieve.
